Summary: Overall, my stay here was ok. The property itself is pretty and overlooks the lake. I also had a balcony room, which was nice. I only stayed here one night because I wanted to take the shared shuttle to get to Belize. My flight from Guatemala City arrived very early, at 7am, and I went to the hotel hoping to get an earlier check in before 3pm. They allowed me to check in at 1pm, which I was grateful for. I explored Flores on foot and went to Maracuya restaurant for breakfast. My only issue with the experience wasn't necessarily the fault of the hotel, but the town had experienced a power outage and there was no AC. It was super hot and humid, and I was very tired and miserable.
